Some people have expressed surprise that we have a core calendar that we work from, to their mind, this lacks a certain amount of spontaneity. Quite honestly, we've found that spontaneity has this unfortunate tendency to turn into things not happening. When you wait until everyone in the group is moved to hold on Odin blot on a particular occasion, you tend to end up not holding the Odin blot at all. On the other hand, if an Odin blot is the official blot of the month, but everyone agrees beforehand that they'd rather do a Freya blot instead, there is always the freedom to revamp the schedule.
Over the years, we have written meditations, blots, and exercises specific to each holiday, some of which are linked to this page. Feel free to utilize these materials in your personal practice, our one request is that these materials not be published without asking permission.
Please e-mail us for more up to date information and/or directions. Events typically begin at 3:00-3:30pm and last through the evening and include a feast. Newcomers are welcome at any or all events.
